This Saturday 24 Sept 2011, seven of us (gang of 13) completed 75-miles bike ride (rest did 45-miles) to support The Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society, who is committed to research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today (checkout a short video on MS).

About 1,800 cyclists from around the region pedaled through some scenic Delaware countryside, with ominous skies not dampening their spirit as they raised close to $1 Million to fight multiple sclerosis; for additional details checkout the news-paper coverage.

I fell at the beginning of the ride (got few cuts and bruises), but with terrific support from the team (good to have Captain P, and doctors on the team!) I could complete my 3rd and the longest ride. I did 45-miles Bike-To-Bay ride in Oct’10, and 30-miles Crankin-for-a-Cure-2011 in May’11. Now looking forward to the next ride next year.
