Multiple Sclerosis (or MS): Bike to the Bay 2010, Delaware

My son (Sanyog Jain, 9th Grade) and I have signed up for our 1st long-distance (45 miles) bike-ride on Sat 2nd October 2010 to support The Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society, who is committed to research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today.

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. You can learn more about MS here or watch a short video.

I have met my fund-raising goal (thanks to Microsoft’s generous benefit to match the employees’ donations dollar for dollar, referred as Giving Program), but if you are looking for ways to contribute, you can visit I Can Make a Difference.
