TechNet Guru Competition – Show off your SQL Server skills!
Over the past few months, I've had the opportunity to help judge a great new online competition on TechNet Wiki spanning many Microsoft technologies and including several SQL Server categories. The contest requirements are very basic and contribute to the overall SQL Server community by increasing the amount of user contributed content on TechNet Wiki. Over the course of each month, many new technical TechNet Wiki articles are added by users around the world and these become the entries to the contest. From a SQL Server perspective, there are categories for:
- SQL Server Analysis Services, PowerPivot
- SQL Server Database Engine
- SQL Server Reporting Services, Power View, & SQL Server Integration Services
- Transact-SQL
If you find yourself answering a question in the forums with a nice solution or explanation or writing up a nice technical explanation for coworkers/management, please add it as a TechNet Wiki article and add your name to the competition. You might just find yourself on the winner's podium and see your name in lights.
