I’ve taken the red pill…

While I was in Barcelona, I received an offer from Microsoft for a full-time position as a Software Design Engineer in Test on part of the Windows team (I won’t say specifically which part of Windows). I’ve given this offer alot of thought, and this morning I handed in the signed paperwork to Microsoft. As of August of 2003 I will be joining Microsoft. Once I get settled into work, I’m planning to continue my studies at the University of Washington. Also, I’ve disclosed all my previous work, like the Photo Album XML Web Service, so I’ll continue work on that on my own. Hopefully in the coming months I’ll have a little bit of time at home (after work)Β to finish off the project and start hosting it! Looks like I’ll be needing to put one of those disclaimers on my blog in August. πŸ™‚

[So, why the Matrix-esqe reference to the red pill… “taking the red pill” (ref 1, ref 2, there’s more but I couldn’t find them).]
