Silverlight 2 Beta 2 announced!

Yes…

Soma Somasegar and Bill Gates have announced that Silverlight 2 Beta 2 will be publicly available later this week!

Silverlight 2 Beta 2 comes with a lot of cool features including Richer controls, Improved Cross Domain Support and security enhancements, duplex communications (“push” from server to Silverlight client), etc.

The best part is – Silverlight 2 Beta 2 comes with a commercial go-live license!

And, just to assure you that you are not alone if you want to deploy your application on this release, NBC will deploy a large, mission-critical rich media site, NBCOlympics.com, using Silverlight 2 Beta 2!
