Writing + speaking + imagery + music creates a dark but fascinating fictitious future.

I've always been impressed by people that can take words, images, and sound and mix them together to create something "cool". I'm mostly impressed because I have no idea how they do it. I mean I know "cool" when I see it but I have no real idea how to create it. This is one of many reasons I'm not a UI developer.

I also enjoy fiction about dark futures where programmers rule the world. Or something like that. That's probably one of the reasons I enjoy William Gibson so much.

Recently, I tripped across this link. That is a "cool" piece of spoken fiction with simple images and ambient music that uses its full 8 minutes to drive home the point. I highly recommend kicking back in quiet room and letting it wash right over you.
