Having trouble running Windows 8 apps after an upgrade?


If you are having problems running Windows 8 apps after upgrading from Windows 7 here are 3 things you can try

1. If you have a 3rd party antivirus this could be blocking them so Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the antivirus program

3. or If one or more of your Windows 8 apps contain an "X" on the app tile on the Start screen and won’t open, try uninstalling and reinstalling one of the apps from the Windows Store.

    How does one get rid of a black background on documents when they appear on the monitor? When that doc is printed it is normal, no black background.
