This error occurs when installing SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 2 (SP2) on a computer with Microsoft .‍NET Framework 4 Client Profile already installed. Microsoft .‍‍NET Framework 4 Client Profile doesn't contain the complete set of .‍‍NET Framework libraries needed to complete the installation.
