How to see time remaining of a song in Windows Media Player

Spotted this handy tip on one of our internal discussion aliases.

Windows Media Player used to show you the running time of the file you where watching or listening to by default and how far along you where.  However now by default it just shows you how far you have got, such as 03:55 (see below).

How much of a song have you listened to.

To see how how far along the track and its total running time simply click on the area highlighted and it will show something like 01:33 / 02:22  which means that the song has played 1 minute and 33 seconds and its total length is 2 minutes 22 seconds.

Click it again and you will see time remaining of the song.

Click again and you will cycle back to the start.
