4 More Windows Vista LIPs: Konkani, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi

Over the weekend there where 4 more Windows Vista Language Interface Packs (LIP) launched:

  1. Konkani – which is mainly spoken in a region along the southwestern coats of India
  2. Kannada – the state language of Karnataka
  3. Malayalam – mainly spoken in the state of Kerala in southern India
  4. Punjabi - Punjabi is the language of the Punjab region which includes the Punjab province of Pakistan as well as the Indian states of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh

***Please note that all 4 LIPs can only be installed on a system that runs an English version of Windows Vista. 

Also the last 3 require a font-enabling package must be installed prior to installing the Vista LIP package. This font package contains important font update information that is required to view your language correctly. To install the font package, click here: Install font package ***
