Sharing the Power of Wishes

On Thursday, my daughter participated in this year's Make-A-Wish Radiothon at Northgate Mall, which aired on 100.7 FM The Wolf. She was interviewed during the morning show, Fitz in the Morning. She spent about ten minutes on the air telling her wish story (see 525,600 Minutes) and the story about her role in helping to grant a wish for another child (see Princess for a Day and From Making a Wish to Granting One).

The most gratifying thing for me is that unlike some kids, she's still here to tell her own wish story. Some of the interviews on the show didn't have happy endings, but it was moving to hear how having a wish granted brought so much happiness when they needed it most.
