Implementing Team System in the Microsoft OEM Division’s IT Center of Excellence

As part of a continuing series of How Microsoft Does IT, we just published a new technical case study (Implementing Visual Studio Team System in the Microsoft OEM Division’s IT Center of Excellence) on TechNet that describes how the Microsoft OEM Division’s IT Center of Excellence implemented Team System to improve communications in development projects, improve job satisfaction of its personnel, enable project managers and senior management to better monitor and troubleshoot projects, and produce substantial and measurable savings.

The Microsoft OEM Division’s IT Center of Excellence (OEM IT), a global IT engineering organization within Microsoft, deployed Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 Team System. OEM IT now enjoys a fully integrated software development platform, realizes substantial and measurable savings, and is able to focus more on development and delivery of high-quality software and less on project administrative tasks.
