IIS 5.0 Isolation Mode and Team Foundation Server

It’s not mentioned in the Team Foundation Installation Guide yet, but be aware that Team Foundation Server will not install if IIS is configured to Run WWW service in IIS 5.0 isolation mode (Configuring Isolation Modes).

Yesterday, I saw an e-mail from one of our Developer Tech Specialists in Minnesota who encountered this when a customer’s IT department had given him a server with IIS configured to use IIS 5.0 isolation mode.
