A Developer's Lap Around SQL Server 2005: Slides, Sample Code, Starting Points and Wookies

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Developer's Lap Around SQL Server 2005 presentation in Dublin this evening.  It was great to see both new and familiar faces in the full house, and I hope you enjoyed our whistlestop tour around the new developer features of the Database Formerly Known as Yukon.

Slides and Code Samples

In the hour and a half that we had, we dove into samples of T-SQL enhancements, CLR integration, and XML support.  We even built a Web Service endpoint inside SQL Server and consumed its output from a WinForms app.

Here is a link to the slides, and the T-SQL Code I worked from during the presentation.

GAC/SQL DLL Integration

I owe you follow-up answers to your questions about GAC/SQL DLL integration.  I will get to that; promise!

I mean, if we can integrate artificial intelligence and Kashyyyk into a talk on databasing, then integrating the Global Assembly Cache should be easy, right? :)
