MSRC International Forum: “Less is More – Simple Computing in an Age of Complexity”

Microsoft Research in Cambridge (MSRC), UK, is organizing a forum in April, 2005 to discuss what will happen as computers continue to become "smaller, cheaper, more powerful, ubiquitous and more diverse."

This three-day event, organized and sponsored by MSRC, will bring together top researchers from a variety of disciplines related to the goal of changing the design of computing, and shifting people's perceptions of how we interact with technology.  There's lots more information and a call for submissions here.

Speaking of the design of computing, a lot of the early innovation that led to the Tablet PC took place at Microsoft Research in Cambridge.  And I haven't forgotten my promise to start posting communal Tablet PC art up here soon.
