Supporting Women in Computer Science (Part 2)
Last night I wrote about my new scholarship (previous post)
Today I have something to ask.
I know my subscribers include tons of competent software engineers. I have a request/challenge for you. Especially the men.
Will any of you stand with me?
All you have to do is this:
1) Do something for a school, any school that means something to you
2) Seek people to mentor, my focus is on women, but you can have any focus that means something to you
3) Tell your friends this is something you stand for
That's all. It's been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done and I wish it for all of you.
