What I do in my spare time

Many months ago, I was asked by the folks in Patterns and Practices to help review their latest guide “Improving .NET Application Performance and Scalability.”  It turned into quite an effort but I’m happy and honored that they chose to accept many of my ideas and suggestions, which are now all the better from the collaboration.  Some of the best thinking on matters of performance from folks at Microsoft and elsewhere can now be found in that guide

And, to top it all off, I just found out that there is an open beta available for feedback and, although there have been many improvements since the last upload, you can get a real feel for what sorts of things will be covered and how by looking at what’s there now.

If you’ve enjoyed my little blog articles I think you’ll find the guide invaluable.
