Nemesis, a free operating system with principles

Really?  This is looks like an older “new” operating system, see it at:

https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/srg/netos/old-projects/nemesis/

Publications are at:

https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/srg/netos/old-projects/nemesis/documentation.html

This was on the BarrelFish site, so I assume that the Nemesis O/S is a research O/S with significant work on it.

The interesting thing about Nemesis is that it was (or is?) focused on continuous media or Quality of service.

This paper is interesting, especially since it focuses on Quality of Service:

The Nemesis O/S appears to overcome the kernel resource draining of resources, which is a cool idea (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nemesis_(computing) )

You can download Nemesis from the Wikipedia site as well.
