Kinect: Researcher briefs the ADEs at the Imagine Cup

Stewart Tansley gave a briefing on Kinect SDK for Windows that will come out later in the year.  Looks pretty exciting.  More information after MIX.  The Microsoft Kinect SDK for Windows will be focused for the hobbyists, students, professors, non-commercial researchers.  This is exciting news for hobbyists, they can work on ideas such as creating a helping robot for an aging parent.  Students could create an electronic sheep for a herding breed puppy to keep their herding instincts (ok got to mention Katy).  Professors can use it in the classroom to show natural human interface (or whatever Stewart was talking about, I should know this as I have know Stewart for years).
