He wasn't "ordered" to switch. He could not use a computer and still comply with his probation. (I know, I know. Just pointing out the obvious.) Does this mean that he can't use public library catalog computers or e-ticket machines at the airport?

I wonder which monitoring software was mandated and whether the parole officer was qualified to make a house visit in order to verify installation. The inquiring ex-cop in me wants to know.
