Since the RTM versions of Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 were released, along with the Office 2010 client applications, SharePoint Designer 2010 and lots of other cool stuff, I thought it would be a good idea to provide some downloads links which can help you get on the road as quickly as possible for early testing.

Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010:

Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008 R2; Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, BUT
SharePoint Foundation 2010 can also be installed for development purposes on Windows 7 and Windows Vista Service Pack 2. Installing on these operating systems is not supported for production deployments. For instructions on how to install on these operating systems, you can refer to this document.

SQL Server Express now works with databases of up to 10GB! Please note that 64-bit SQL Server is required for SharePoint 2010.
