Gamemaker Standard FREE!!

If you have read many of my blog posts, you probably know that I use Gamemaker Studio very frequently with work and even in my personal projects for making games for Windows 8 and Windows Phone.  With the free version, you get access to publish to Windows 8 with a limit on the amount of resources that you can use.  Typically, you pay $50 to get rid of that resource limit (you can see the breakdown below), but for a limited time (until March 2nd) that $50 version of gamemaker is free!!  If you are even considering using Gamemaker in the future, go ahead download it and then upgrade to Gamemaker Standar.  You can read the blog post here.
