SoftSol's Traffic Court Management system built on Microsoft platform technologies (VS 2010 RC + Silverlight 3 + WS 08)

SoftSol USA develops custom IT applications and software products that take full advantage of the latest web technologies and service oriented architecture (SOA), and help customers modernize their legacy applications. They leverage some of their own tools to convert legacy (COBOL, PowerBuilder, and Forte) code into full-fledged .NET applications for the modernization projects.

SoftSol is working on some major LOB (Line-of-Business) applications for their government customers using Microsoft's latest application platform products & technologies. Traffic Court Management system is built with Visual Studio 2010/.NET Framework 4.0 (leverages ASP.NET, Silverlight 3, WCF and WF technologies) and hosted on Windows Server 2008 (IIS 7.5) and SQL Server 2008. SoftSol is also working on another custom Property Tax Management system for their government customers using the same architecture and technologies.

Traffic Court Management system will be deployed for a very large county in California (USA), but they are talking to other government customers as well. Here is the link to their product.

SoftSol is among thousands of firms actively using Visual Studio 2010 and deploying solutions (iteratively) in production. We are excited to see SoftSol taking a leadership role in applying latest platform technologies to deliver next generation solutions for their government customers.
