Microsoft ASP.NET code name "Atlas" is a set of Web development technologies that integrates client script libraries with the ASP.NET 2.0 server-based development framework. "Atlas" offers the same type of development platform for client-based Web pages that ASP.NET offers for server-based pages. Because "Atlas" is an extension of ASP.NET, it is fully integrated with server-based services. In this webcast, find out how easy it is to use the "Atlas" features and tools to build applications with Asynchronous Java and XML (AJAX) capabilities in ASP.NET 2.0. We also introduce and discuss new "Atlas" server controls that leverage the client script libraries.

Summary
ASP.NET "Atlas" is a 100% JavaScript extensible, object-oriented, client script framework that allows you to easily build Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX)-style browser applications with rich UI and connectivity to Web services. With "Atlas", you can write Web applications that use a lot of dynamic HTML (DHTML), JavaScript, and XMLHTTP without having to be an expert in any of these technologies. This webcast dissects the layers of the "Atlas" Client Script Library and details how the Client Script Library enables you to write all of your UI logic on the client side, exchanging only data with the server.
