Get Ready for Launch 2005

Together, SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006 offer a comprehensive data and tools platform that prepares organizations to meet the evolving demands of their business.  Using this platform, agencies will be ready to deliver connected solutions faster and more efficiently; ready to make more informed decisions, and ready to deliver the most demanding mission critical applications.

The joint launch tour for SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006 will begin the week of Nov 7, 2005.  We will have a DC launch in January and we’re hoping to see many of our Federal customers & partners there.  I’ll have more information to share in the near future.

In the mean time, we have some great resources for you to get ready for the release of these great products. The first step is to get your hands on the betas.  If you are an MSDN subscriber, you can download the betas from MSDN Subscriber Downloads.  If you aren’t an MSDN subscriber, you can find out how to get SQL Server 2005 & Visual Studio 2005 at https://msdn.microsoft.com/getthebetas/.  To find out how to get BizTalk Server 2006 Beta 1 go to https://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/evaluation/bts2006beta.mspx.  The next step is to start using it.  The Launch Tour 2005 Knowledge Center (https://msdn.microsoft.com/launch2005/) is a great place to start.

Did you know that we offer FREE eLearning for Visual Studio 2005 (8 courses) and SQL Server 2005 (9 courses)?  Did I mention they were FREE?  They aren’t free forever, so you will want to take advantage of them now!
