More updates to my blog posting app

With the shift from (on .Text) to (on Community Server) it was time to update my Word-based blog posting app again.

I think the coolest thing that has happened is that you can now post over SSL, meaning that your credentials are no longer sent in the clear. This is great news for all the tin-foil-hat people out there like me :-). It's not that I was ever really worried about my old creds going in the clear (they are pretty low-value and easily changed) but it's good to know things are getting better.

This is my first post with the updated code, so we'll see how it goes. Basically I just had to delete the old .Text web reference, add a new Community Server web reference, and then patch up the code to use the new classes. Not too shabby at all 🙂

I really should get this hosted up on gotdotnet or something...

CS is pathetic. There are SO MANY FEATURES it’s missing that it isn’t even funny.

And your servers can’t even handle the load, what a great advert!

Fire Telligent and roll your own.

You could "host" it on, my prefered developer community.
