Living with a Tablet

I've had RSI for the better part of 3 years and have been trying to find a way of reducing the strain on my wrist. Doing this would both reduce the pain I am in daily and increase my productivity. I've always wondered whether a Tablet PC would aid in this goal.

Whilst I was away in the US last month on training I got to use one in earnest for a few days and rearly noticed a difference. As I was using a mouse & keyboard that much less, when did have to use them, I could for a lot longer.

So anyway, now I have one myself, and I'm loving it! Specifically its a Toshiba Tecra M7, it's nowhere hear as powerful as my previous laptop (an HP nc8430) but since I rarely did any development work on it, I think I'm on to a better thing with the tablet.

This week has been a great test actually -we are ramping up a new protect - as I've been having lots of meetings. I've actually got to use OneNote for it's intended purpose and it rocks!!

You'll have to forgive any mistakes as I'm still training the handwriting recognition and as anyone who knows me will attest to; my handwriting is appalling!!
