Intense Moments with Peter Read Miller

With more than 20 years of experience, Sports Illustrated Staff photographer, and Microsoft Icon of Imaging, Peter Read Miller is recognized as one of the premier sports photographers in the world. Miller's photos have captured some of the biggest and brightest moments in sports history and his compelling work has appeared on more than 100 Sports Illustrated covers.
Now you can learn at the feet of the master himself... Working with Artists, will host a sports photography workshop taught by Peter Read Miller from April 20 – April 26, 2009 in Denver, CO.
The workshop is geared toward amateur and working photographers looking to sharpen their skill set, while also learning how to photograph sporting events as well as athletes in the studio.
Tuition for the workshop is $1,495 and includes instruction, equipment loan, digital services, and the use of a digital imaging studio. Each photographer will have the opportunity to work directly with Peter Read Miller and take home hundreds of images of exciting sporting events, including:
- Professional Mountain Bikers
- Colorado Rapids vs. LA Galaxy MLS Soccer Game
- University of Colorado Spring Football Scrimmage
- Basketball with strobes and remotes
- Portraits of athletes both on location and in the studio
- Additional sports to be determined

Working with Artists is a non-profit organization that focuses on photographic arts. Workshops are offered year round on creative, practical, and thought provoking topics.
