If you are a SQL Server professional, you probably know that November is Summit season in the US. The PASS Summit is the largest gathering of SQL Server professionals in the world and it provides not only a world-class training opportunity, but an opportunity to network and socialize with SQL Server professionals from around the globe. SQL Server MVPs, bloggers, DBAs, developers and support professionals will come together for 4 days in Seattle to learn from each other, learn from the SQL Server product group and other Microsoft professionals, and most importantly have fun!
This year’s Summit is being held at the Washington State Convention Center from November 4-7, 2014. PASS is run by the community, but of course as a Diamond Sponsor, Microsoft plays a huge role in providing content and staffing for the event, including the keynotes as well as various sessions and events throughout the summit. It’s an exciting event for us at Microsoft and one that many of us look forward to. This year several of the Premier Developer consultants who specialize in SQL Server will be attending and participating in the Summit in various capacities. boB Taylor will be leading some interactive sessions at Certification Central. Pam Lahoud will be delivering a session titled Built for Speed: Database Application Design for Performance at 4:15PM on Friday, November 7th. Also come find us at the SQL Server Clinic in room 4C throughout the conference. boB, Pam, and Chad Mattox will be there for a few shifts to help you with your SQL Server issues and design questions. And of course if you’re walking through the hallway and you spot someone with Premier Developer on their badge, feel free to stop us and say hi!
Hope to see you there!
