New Job

When I start working April 1 after my parental leave, I'm not going back to my old job as a consultant for Microsoft Services. Instead, I've accepted Christian's old position in the Mobile Applications Group in Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen (MDCC), and I'm looking forward to work with a team committed to agile process. It looks like there's still going to be lots of WCF and server-based development for me, so although mobile applications are in focus, I'll still be able to leverage my prior experience, while learning something new at the same time.

The last five years with Microsoft Services have been great, but it's time for me to get back into a development organization and get to produce software from start to finish, and I'm really looking forward to that.

This blog is going to stay on, and I'll keep blogging about stuff that I care about. You may see a change towards more mobile-oriented stuff, but I currently have no plans to stop writing about unit testing, software design, etc. since these are subjects that I care deeply about and that I'm still going to use in my new position.
