Windows Phone 7 “Office Hours” – Wednesday Oct 27, 2010

WindowsPhone72 We just had a great Windows Phone 7 Developer Launch event in NYC this week.  There was a lot of excitement about building apps for this new platform at the two day event in Times Square.  We had a bunch of developer prototype devices at the launch so folks could test their applications on an actual device.

Some folks wanted to follow up with even more testing ahead of general availability of the devices on November 8th, 2010.  Rachel Appel and I both have a Windows Phone 7 developer prototype device.  Like a college professor, we’re going to be hanging out in the Microsoft NYC office next Wednesday, October 27th hosting “office hours”.  Feel free to drop on by, hack away, and test your apps on an actual device.

Building security requires the names of all office visitors ahead of time.  Therefore, Rachel has set up a registration link so you can sign up to stop by next Wednesday.

This is not going to be a ‘formal’ event.  We’ll just be hanging out, and looking to hack around on the phones.  Due to the limited number of actual phones available, please register only if you have an application ready to deploy or want to sign up for an App Hub developer account subscription.  Thanks!
