IMPORTANT: ASP.NET Security Update Now Available

lock Last week, I posted about a security vulnerability in ASP.NET.  I shared links to blog posts by Scott Guthrie & the Microsoft Security Response team featuring workarounds.  Dmitry Lyalin and I recently discussed the vulnerability on Episode #37 of the Connected Show.

A security update patch has been made available (as of 9/28/2010) to address this vulnerability.  If you’re running a web application based on ASP.NET or SharePoint, you will want to apply this update as soon as possible!  See Scott Guthrie’s new blog post that details how to apply the update, along with the links to download all of it.
