Tomorrow night is the kick-off meeting of the new NYC VSTS User Group. VSTS is a powerful tool for helping manage the world of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in a team environment.
Implemented properly, it has the potential to improve developer productivity and increase the quality of the software your team produces. This new user group promises a monthly opportunity to learn more about it, as well as share best practices for using it.

NYC VSTS User Group is an official non–profit MSDN user group dedicated to the professional Visual Studio community. This is a dynamic organization for learning and sharing ideas on Visual Studio Team System, where presenters are industry experts, and passionate evangelists delivering presentations to highlight the latest in the .NET platform. We provide structured, peer-based organizational and educational support and we enable professionals to enhance their skills.
We aim to foster a sense of professional community between the VSTS users in NYC.
If you are in the software profession and are interested in .NET technologies and learning more about managing the development lifecycle, join us. You’ll gain a unique opportunity to learn from the presenters’ experiences, network with IT professionals and share solutions to development issues.
The group will be meeting on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Microsoft Offices in Manhattan. (1290 Ave of the Americas, 6th Floor). Due to the building’s security requirements, you must register each month. You can do that at the group’s website: http://nyc-vsts-ug.com
