Tragedy at Virginia Tech

I received the dreadful news coming out of my alma mater via text messages at a conference in Tampa on Monday.  Each update left me more horrified as the news unfolded. There are no words to describe the unprecedented horror that took place at one of my favorite places in the world. 

Despite the sad news, I was proud to hear that at the memorial service today that in a moment of unity, students chanted, "Let's Go Hokies!" 

My thoughts go out to all of the students and families affected.
