South Jersey .NET User Group Forming @ Exit 4

Philly.NET continues to spread its wings.  Last month, a new group was born in Center City.  This month, the Philly.NET community is starting a new user group in south Jersey.  It seems the .NET user group phenomenon keeps spreading further south down the Turnpike!  First Iselin (Exit 11), then Parsippany (Exit 18W via Route 80), East Windsor (Exit 8), and now Cherry Hill (Exit 4)!

Travis Laborde has been working along with others in the Philly.NET community to make this happen.  For the kick-off meeting, there will be two speakers.  Here's the agenda:

5:30pm - Developer Testing 101 - Travis Laborde - In this talk we'll cover concepts, practices, tools, and challenges having to do with developer testing.

7:00pm - ASP.NET Tips & Tricks - Scott Watermasysk - ASP.Net is a great way to build web applications. For the past month or so I have been documenting some of my favorite ASP.Net tips on my blog. Usually these tips are quick one or two line changes; but they can make a huge impact on your application. As of now, about 40 tips have been published and there is another 50 or so in the queue. During this talk we will go over as many of these tips as time allows. When you leave, I promise you will have learned something new you can apply to your next application; usually in just a couple of minutes. As an added bonus, Scott will offer a free license of CodeSmith Professional to all attendees ($399 value)!

The meeting will be hosted at New Horizons Training Center in Cherry Hill, NJ.  New Horizons is located at:

One Cherry Hill Mall Drive
Suite 600
Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
1-856-773-5197

Come on out this Thursday, March 29th to meet your peers and learn something new in south Jersey!  Please register on the Philly.NET website so they know how much food to order!
