Interesting commentary from Slate on those new Mac commercials. Basically sums up how it's all about the "cool" kid vs. the "nerdy" guy. It's fashion vs. functionality. And as Apple has taught all of us, fashion can trump all. I think our marketing department can take a lesson or two from this.
Funny thing is, I used to be a huge fan of the TV show Ed, and the guy who plays the "cool" kid in these commercials used to play the biggest "nerd" of all on the TV show.
