TechEd 2005 - Day 5

That's it. It's over. The attendees seem to have been beaten into submission by this morning. The accumulation of little sleep, lots of information, and another late night party with free food and beer, seem to have taken their toll.

I arrived at the Architect cabana at 10 am, and other then the people working there, it was very quiet. And, things didn't pick up much throughout the day. I did get to speak again with Susan and Steve from EDS. They wanted feedback on the DSL, so we went through their design. It looked really good though after some of our earlier talks in the week. We also talked about additional features they would like to see in the toolkit.

The topic of sample DSLs came up, and hopefully we'll have some to post soon, so that people can get a better grasp on what a DSL is, what it's useful for, what kind of artifacts it can produce, etc. Hopefully, some folks from the developer community will be able to fill in the gaps in samples with examples of the tools that they're also producing.

Well, I'm getting ready to leave. I just finished web checkin for my flight and will be heading to the airport. Hopefully, this will be a quiet flight so that I can catch up on some sleep...
