New Zealand Business Sessions Sample Code

I presented a session on Asynchronous Messaging with Web Services at the New Zealand Business Sessions last week and the week before.  The talk promoted the use of WSE 2.0 messaging object model to gain familiarity with asynchronous messaging.  By being familiar with this possibility you can take a broader view of service interactions than if all you know is RPC.  Sort of analagous to the old handyman mantra "When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail".  You can model business process interactions more holistically if you are familiar with different ways to solve the problem.

Here are the slides that were presented.  Scroll down, the developer sessions are at the bottom of the page :-)  The demo code for my Asynchronous Messaging session are here.  The WSE 2.0 help also has some really good (because they're simple) samples for the messaging object model.

You can read my bio here, it was required for the event.  The photo is me showing a fish that my son just caught last summer.  Presenting is almost as much fun as sailing, but not quite.
