Windows Phone Hackathon by Microsoft Innovation Center - Lahore, was held at Park Plaza Hotel on 23rd-24th March, 2013.
A total number of 70 participants were on the occasion. The whole concept revolved around quality apps from ISVs and Start-ups, thus we made this a depth engagement from very beginning, starting with THE IDEA. The idea thread started well before the event that allowed us to identify workable ideas; for that MIC-Lahore and DPE collaborated to identify top industry influencers to form an expert panel to work with ISVs/Developers on their ideas as well as implementation roadmap.
The 2 day event saw these developers turn up with their half ready products against the ideas and during the course of these two days they improved their solution both technically as well as from the business perspective.
The event also included sessions around NFC and Visual Studio TFS & ALM. The event’s highlight was quizzes to allow developers to participate to show their knowledge as well as learn from each other and one-on-one depth engagement with developers which they appreciated a lot.
The judges panel evaluated each solution to identify the worthy winners [Best App, Best App, 2nd Best App].
