  • Preview matches Office Insider Fast: same weekly builds with latest features; only need to join to participate
  • Installing this preview will not affect activation state (Office 365 subscription, volume license, or retail)

    I downloaded and installed the preview, but when I launch the app, I still see the old UI and none of the new features.

    1. Thanks for the comment, Ken. If you have any Office apps already installed (whether 2011 or 2016) then you’ll also need to join Insider Fast. Instructions here. If you have any other questions, please use Help > Contact Support to send us a message.

    Hi, I have joined the Insider Fast running Outlook 2016 for Mac, version 15.35 with an O365 subscription. The @mention feature does not work. It does not show the pop-up to select a user and, of course, since that doesn’t work, it does not add the email address to the To field. I do have the Focused Inbox feature working.

    1. Hi Brian. @mentions is now available to all users (not just Insiders) in releases 15.25 and newer, and does require an Office 365 subscription activation (like Focused Inbox), so it sounds like you have both of those covered. Please message us via Help > Contact support for more assistance.
