Incidentally, Berlin, Germany has the Funkturm (not to be confused with the Fernsehturm), which looks a lot like the Eiffel Tower.
Check out this one (in French):

Interesting sheeps they go in France.
Remember kids, don't believe anything that pretty women tell you about rocketry. Even in France (more specifically, French Guyana, at the Centre Spatial Guyanais), they count down. But in French.
It's not exactly rocket scie… oh, wait.
I thought the countdown in France went like this:
http://www.calormen.com/Applesoft
10 HOME
20 PRINT "15…"
21 PRINT "30…"
22 PRINT "40…"
30 IF RND(1) > 0.5 GOTO 40
31 GOTO 50
40 PRINT "INITIATING LAUNCH…"
41 IF RND(1) > 0.5 GOTO 100
42 GOTO 60
50 PRINT "SACRE BLEU…"
51 IF RND(1) > 0.5 GOTO 60
52 GOTO 200
60 PRINT "UN MOMENT…"
51 IF RND(1) > 0.5 GOTO 40
52 GOTO 50
100 PRINT "LIFTOFF!"
101 GOTO 300
200 PRINT "LAUNCH ABORTED."
201 GOTO 300
300 END
Oops… the second "line 51" should be 61, and the second "line 52" should be 62.
OMG that link is hilarious. Awesome find.
@Marquess, And Tokyo has the Tokyo tower…
Yes! This is why I read this blog. You never know what kind of wacky stuff gets mixed in with articles on how garbage collection works.
You mean this isn't an article about garbage collection?
Of course! Everything's interesting in France!!
And indeed our sheeps sound very differently than english and american ones:

You know, it's totally over the top, but I actually like the Miss USA "dress" :P
Of course, with Miss Venezuela right underneath her they look like a hero/villain pair from something terrible, like maybe Batman Forever II.
Switzerland's is by far my favorite.
I went "What a sweet little nothing she's almost wearing" several times. Nice page, that.
Good thing that the "National symbol on the head" thing didn't catch on. Miss Australia would have looked just plain silly with Uluru on her head.
@Morten: Ayer's Rock, mate. Ayer's Rock.
No need to go all pc on this blog, I don't think.
