Coding on your WP7 device… why not on an industrial one?

Ever been arrested by cops for texting while driving? Well, now you can tell the cop: “I was not texting sir, I was coding!”. You might get tested for drug or alcohol use though as the cop won’t get what you are talking about!

You can go get this app on the WP7 marketplace that Microsoft Research is developing. It will allow you to develop applications directly on the phone using some interesting development environment and language fully leveraging touch interface. I am giving it a try right now, funny! You can find it for free in the WP7 marketplace.

I am wondering how much of this could be used to program industrial controllers and PLCs usually programmed using graphcet… Other devices you could see this being used?
