Backstage: Rehearsal for a keynote

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I am in Budapest for the Canalys Navigation Forum.

I will be presenting a demo during the keynote tomorrow morning and I had to do rehearsals today. The forum is taking place in a very nice hotel, the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal. Here is the room we had a Windows Embedded reception in tonight as an opening to the event:

The keynote room will also take place in a really nice set:

So the rehearsal took place in this nice room.
For such a rehearsal, what we usually go through is the whole content: are slides uploaded correctly? Are they presenting well on the screen? Is every technical thing working for the demos (connectivity, Elmo visualizer,...)? And then we play the keynote or parts of it.

After a few technical issues related to a video in the presentation and to resolution on my laptop, Ilya Bukshteyn (sr. Director for Windows Embedded Marketing), who will present the keynote, and I could run through the demos. Everything is working fine! Let's reproduce that tomorrow morning!
