Dans la série "je voudrais bien avoir des features Vista sur mon device Windows XP Embedded", voici une vidéo présentant le développement d'un shell WPF pour une cible XPe. En effet, un Feature Pack (Windows XPe Feature Pack 2008) est en préparation pour Windows XPe qui proposera les fonctionnalités suivantes sous la forme de composants :

  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Windows Media Player 11
  • Remote Desktop Protocol 6.0
  • .NET Frameworok 3.0
  • User-Mode Driver Framework

Pour télécharger ce Feature Pack en CTP (Community Technical Preview), vous devez vous connecter sur le site Microsoft Connect avec un identifiant Live ID correct, aller dans la rubrique "Available connections", puis "Windows XP Embedded".

Under the topic "I'd like to have Vista features on my Windows XP Embedded device", here is a video presenting the development of a WPF shell for an XPe device. A feature pack called Windows XPe Feature Pack 2008 is being prepared that will provide theses features as components:
