SharePoint Deployment Planning Services – 2010 Upgrade Planning Now Available

The SharePoint Deployment Planning Services (SDPS) program has been a big hit over the past couple of years.

There are now over 1,000 certified partners who can deliver the planning services workshops with customers.

These are provided free to qualified customers who have purchased Software Assurance (SA) for their SharePoint software licenses.

This week, a new planning service was rolled out, one that focuses on helping customers prepare for the upgrade to SharePoint 2010.

This is called the 2010 Upgrade Planning Offer. All of the planning services, which are paid for through Packaged Services vouchers (a SA benefit), are delivered by certified partners in engagements of 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15 days.

If you are a SharePoint partner and would like to become a certified SDPS partner, visit the SDPS Partner Center to learn more.

If you are a SharePoint customer and would like to learn more about this offer and how to leverage it for your upgrade planning, please visit the Microsoft Volume Licensing Site to learn more.
