MS and Sun playing nice again

Friday's announcement about Sun and Microsoft Interoperability was interesting to me for the announcement about the Single Sign On (SSO) agreement.  We've had mixed proposals (the WS-* specs from Microsoft and the Liberty specs from Sun) for a while now, and have had to keep promising that a resolution would come.  Now it has been announced, int he form of two draft specifications: Web Single Sign-On Metadata Exchange (Web SSO MEX) Protocol and Web Single Sign-On Interoperability Profile (Web SSO Interop profile).  I still think it would have been nice to have a spec titled WS-Liberty...
