Programmer's Day

We are giving a shout out to the architects of today’s digital world on Programmer's Day, which is typically celebrated on 13 September, the 256th day of the year. The number 256 was chosen because it is the number of distinct values that can be represented with an eight-bit byte. As we celebrate the positive changes that programmers make to improve our everyday lives, we also work hard to bring in the next generation of talented programmers. If you're looking to support the growth of the industry and innovation in your own company, get involved with the Microsoft Student Accelerator (MSA) this year. We are excited to introduce the summer 2015 wave of the programme. We already have more than 2,000 students registered for the pre-programme training over the next four months, so we are now accepting employer registrations. This is a chance for your organisation to take on a group of three highly motivated students for 10 weeks over the summer. The MSA programme is designed to help students build contacts and skills, while empowering companies to innovate. Find out more here and then sign up today!
