For the month of April, there is a mixed goodie bag of events with something for everyone in the tech scene. So put your Easter treats to good use and bring them along for a sugar-fuelled month of learning! You may have noticed a presence on the interwebs recently, promoting our DevCamps. We still have a couple coming up in April with a few seats left, so register and come along to learn what’s new in the cloud from our oh-so-awesome, knowledgeable speakers! There are also camps targeted at IT Infrastructure Specialists; if that sounds like a bit of you or someone you know, check out the latest TechNet Flash Newsletter for more details. We also have an MSDN Events Calendar so you can stay on top of all of our events. So what else is in your Easter goodie bag? Well, we have a couple of business lecture-style learning events. Azure Discovery Day provides you with demos, presentations and discussions on how different technologies come together through Azure to create solutions to common organisation problems and opportunities. Maybe your business needs a bit of extra help thinking out your cloud strategy? Road to the Cloud presents best practices and lessons learned in leveraging the benefits of the cloud, especially for all you independent software vendor (ISV) folk. If you’re more interested in what’s going on with the bigger picture, The Project takes an exciting look into scaling innovation globally, with international and local presenters sharing their expertise on how New Zealand can continue to develop and export diverse and unique products and services to global markets. Or, maybe you’re aspiring to become a mesmerising technical speaker. Dr James Whittaker and Dr Michelle Dickinson reveal their secrets behind confident public speaking and killer technical presentations in How to Rock the Stage!, with all money raised going to the OMGTech! charity, that teaches Kiwi children technical skills such as coding, 3D printing and robotics. Last but not least, we have the magnificient Codemania 2015 coming up, which reaches out to all you passionate software developers for two days of brilliant workshops and lectures. So, what are you waiting for? I’ve heard Easter eggs make great brain food… or was that real eggs? Python Tools for Visual Studio 2.2 Beta has a number of new features that users have been asking for, as well as plenty of fixes for some really annoying issues (the complete list is here). Announcing the Office 2016 IT Pro and Developer Preview.

The Office 365 team are pleased to announce the IT Pro and Developer Preview of Office 2016 for the Windows desktop. This early build doesn't yet contain all the features that are planned to be shipped out in the final product. However, through the course of the preview, customers should expect to see new features delivered through monthly updates.
