TechEd 2006 - Attendee Party

Tonight was the big party for all attendees of TechEd!  It was held at the famous Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Socks (baseball team).  What struck me the most was how traditional and ‘old’ the place was.  It was cool to see the original metal seat frames with wood planks, the manual score keeping, the really traditional food, practically no plastic around, etc.  So different than the Mariners stadium in Seattle which is completely modern.  Train performed and the crowd loved it!  Train wrote the song “Drops of Jupiter”.

The attendee party is alway big & fun, best enjoyed with one’s significant other since it’s usually held somewhere cool, like Universal Studios, Walt Disney Land, etc where there are things to see and do at the party.  Most of the other TechEd parties are for networking.  Unlike the Influencer parties (with a good signal to noise ratio), you’re lucky to find a few people you know at the attendee party.  We were luck this time and hooked up with Chris Menegay, Jim Lamb, Kevin Kelly, Mark Dunn, Christopher Bowen, Miho David, Jean-Luc David, and Mark Popkin-Paine.
