WPF/ Silverlight Control Toolkit - Visual Studio 2010 and .NET Framework 4.0 CTP

In today’s PDC keynote theGu announced a new control suite for Silverlight 2 and WPF.

The Silverlight controls announced today don’t exist in WPF just yet but have been written in a way that can be easily ported to WPF.

These releases continue to drive towards the arrowhead vision for WPF and Silverlight.

Tim has a post demonstrating chart databinding in action. Laurent has gone deep on the Silverlight controls as well.

The WPF Toolkit includes out-of-band releases of high-quality WPF controls and features. Many of these will be rolled back into the platform with the next .NET Framework release.

Included in the WPF Toolkit are:

DataGrid

DatePicker/Calendar

VisualStateManager (VSM)
